Workday HCM Systems Manager
We are partnering with a prestigious globally recognised Australian organisation seeking a Workday Manager – HCM Systems to lead the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of their People Systems applications. This role demands deep expertise in Workday HCM solutions and strong stakeholder collaboration skills to deliver high-quality, business-aligned technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and optimisation of Workday configurations, integrations, and reporting solutions to meet business needs.
- Oversee system development, including requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring compliance with security and architectural frameworks.
- Partner with business leaders, IT teams, and functional experts to translate business requirements into Workday solutions.
- Drive agile delivery, facilitating stand-ups, sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
- Organise and lead Program Increment Planning sessions for cross-functional collaboration.
- Provide technical support, ensuring smooth operations and issue resolution.
- Implement continuous system improvements to enhance performance and user experience.
- Establish best practices for system configuration, testing protocols, and change control.
- Define system architecture strategies, ensuring alignment with enterprise technology standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Workday HCM experience, with expertise in modules such as Absence, Compensation, Talent, and Integrations.
- Hands-on proficiency with Workday tools including EIB, RAAS, Connectors, and Workday Studio integrations.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, bridging technical and business discussions.
- Analytical mindset with a knack for diagnosing and solving complex system challenges.
- Agile mindset, adaptable to evolving business needs and priorities.
